High Protein Fruit Salad on the go

Want to stick to your diet? Start snacking. It helps control hunger and rein in portion sizes at meals. This fruit salad with protein rich quark is a favorite of mine and it’s perfect as a post workout snack. Quark can be a bit tricky to find in Belgium so sometimes I replace quark with a protein rich, low in sugar, yogurt like Fage Total Greek Yogurt 0%. Happy snacking!

Servings: Ready in: 5 min

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 clementine (75 g)
  • 2 dl quark (0.2%)
  • vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom

Instructions: 

  1. Chop the fruits and put in a food container.
  2. Mix quark and spices in an other container.
  3. Combine the two when it’s time to eat, otherwise the fruit will become mushy (not that I mind).
