Want to stick to your diet? Start snacking. It helps control hunger and rein in portion sizes at meals. This fruit salad with protein rich quark is a favorite of mine and it’s perfect as a post workout snack. Quark can be a bit tricky to find in Belgium so sometimes I replace quark with a protein rich, low in sugar, yogurt like Fage Total Greek Yogurt 0%. Happy snacking!
Servings: 1 Ready in: 5 min
- 1/2 banana
- 1 clementine (75 g)
- 2 dl quark (0.2%)
- vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom
- Chop the fruits and put in a food container.
- Mix quark and spices in an other container.
- Combine the two when it’s time to eat, otherwise the fruit will become mushy (not that I mind).
