Last week I got to try the Moroccan restaurant La Kasbah. My friends have been telling me about this place for months now and strangely it had been a while since I last went to a Moroccan restaurant. We invited some friends along and headed to the trendy Dansaert street right at the heart of Brussels.
The interior was enchanting with over 100 colourful lanterns hanging from the ceiling and soft lighting. We started with the Mezze Kasbah consisting of hummus, different salads and flat bread. The carrot salad and grilled-pepper salad turned out to be my favourites. As for the main course, I chose between couscous, tajines and grlled meats. I opted for the tajine with vegetables which was truly delicious! If you like you can accompany your meal with some Moroccan wines.
All in all, the place is cosy, has a lot of personality and affordable prices. If you’re planning to go on a weekend evening, do call to make a reservation as the place gets full quickly.
